My family and I live in my hometown of Bracebridge, Ontario in the heart of Muskoka. I can't picture a better place for my husband and I to raise our two daughters. When working in clay, memories of my mom are never far from my mind. She loved to collect pottery, especially teapots which she would display all through her kitchen. I miss sharing a cup of tea with her and sadly only realized later how truly special those simple moments were. From my mom, I learned to appreciate pottery and the joy that comes with finding a piece that you can't live without. She was a creative person who showed me that the best gifts are those that are handmade with love. I was blessed with her creative spirit and when I look at my hands work I will always picture hers.
